Thousands Gather To Offer Eid Prayers Across India – WATCH

People gathered at various mosques to offer Eid-ul-Fitr namaz across the country.

People have gathered to offer namaz at different mosques on Eid ul-Fitr, on Monday morning. The crescent moon was seen in India on Sunday, marking the culmination of the holy month of Ramadan.

This meant Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in the country on Monday.

People gathered at the Jama Masjid for Namaz in the morning.

Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated across the world on different days, and it is determined by the sighting of the crescent moon, which is supposed to denote the start of the Shawwal month in the Islamic lunar calendar.

Many people gather at the Juma Masjid Mahim Dargah to offer Eid prayers.

Eid-ul-Fitr comes after the holy month of Ramadan, which started on March 2, after the crescent moon was spotted on March 1, 2025. This year the month of Ramzan was of 29 days, while last year it was of 30 days.
