Skymet Report: Oct to end on a poor note for Tamil Nadu, rains to increase in Nov
Doing the first 10 days of the month, the state of Tamil Nadu recorded rainfall to the tune of 100 percent excess.
However, rainfall activity has tapered down to quite an extent and in the last four to five days they have nearly been missing. The rainfall surplus is also getting consumed quite significantly in the past week.
Due to reduced rainfall activities, the state is witnessing 4 percent deficient rains at present. Thus, at present, the only state in India which is rain surplus is Kerala while all the other subdivisions are rain deficient.
