Samvidhan Ki Shapath: People of Bihar, UP flee from Gujarat after hate attack
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Tuesday reacted on violence in Gujarat. She said that Uttar Pradesh and Bihar people who voted and made PM Modi win from Varanasi are being targeted in Gujarat.
A total of 42 complaints of attacks were registered from seven districts of the state.
The DIG said that security has been beefed up in the affected areas and policemen have been asked to hold meetings in affected villages to receive cooperation from locals, build confidence and gather more inputs for the probe.
