Rajnath Singh becomes first Defence Minister to fly aircraft Tejas

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in flying suit before his flight in the indigenous Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, in Bengaluru today. He is the first ever Defence Minister who will be flying in the indigenous LCA.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday flew in the homemade light combat aircraft (LCA) Tejas that took off from the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited airport here this morning.
Singh was accompanied by Air Vice Marshal N Tiwari, Project Director, National Flight Test Centre, ADA (Aeronautical Development Agency) in the familiarization sortie. 
Ahead of the flight today, Singh tweeted two pictures of him dressed in a green flight suit.
