War Update: Iran Launches Missile Waves as B‑1B Lancer Joins U.S. Operations

The conflict between the United States and Iran continues to intensify with both sides exchanging military strikes and strong warnings. U.S. President Donald Trump claimed Iran’s military strength has been severely damaged and predicted Tehran would soon be ready for negotiations. However, Iranian officials rejected those claims, stating they have never asked for a ceasefire and will continue resisting American pressure. In a major escalation, the United States has deployed the powerful B‑1B Lancer bomber to the Middle East. The supersonic aircraft, capable of carrying up to 34,000 kilograms of explosives and equipped with cruise missiles and laser-guided bombs, is designed to destroy deeply buried bunkers and strategic targets. Meanwhile, Iran has launched fresh waves of missile and drone attacks targeting U.S. positions and allied bases across the region. Reports indicate strikes near the American base at Al Dhafra Air Base and explosions reported in Bahrainfollowing attempted interceptions by air defense systems. Tehran also revealed it has begun using the powerful Sejjil missile, which has a range of up to 2,500 km and can carry heavy warheads at hypersonic speeds. As tensions rise, reports suggest disagreements between Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump over attacks on Iranian oil tankers, adding further complexity to the rapidly escalating regional conflict.
