Breaking News: Violent Protests Erupt Across Iran: Clashes, Arson, 62 Dead as Global Concern Grows

Iran is witnessing intense and violent protests across multiple cities, including Tehran, Mashhad, Hamadan, and Shiraz, as public anger against the Islamic Republic continues to grow. Demonstrators set fire to a mosque in Tehran and a bank in Shiraz, while violent clashes, arson, and large-scale rallies were reported on major streets and highways. Starlink and GPS signals were reportedly jammed amid the unrest. Security forces used tear gas and shotguns to disperse crowds, with reports confirming at least 62 protesters killed so far. Protesters were seen waving flags, chanting slogans against Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, and opposing the Islamic State. Rising inflation, a collapsing currency, and economic distress have fueled the anger. Exiled Iranian Prince Reza Pahlavi has openly supported the protests, urging unity. The situation remains volatile despite appeals from Iran’s leadership.
