Breaking Crisis: Kabul Devastated as Pakistan Launches Its Largest-Ever Airstrike

Amid the ongoing regional conflict, tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan have escalated sharply, opening another front of violence. Pakistan carried out what is being described as its largest-ever airstrike on Kabul, targeting at least five locations. Reports indicate that over 400 people have been killed and more than 250 injured. The strikes were conducted using JF-17 Thunder and F-16 Fighting Falcon jets. Massive flames and thick black smoke were seen rising across Kabul following the attack. Targets reportedly included areas near the Afghan Defense Ministry, intelligence headquarters, the presidential palace, and residential zones. A major tragedy occurred near Kabul International Airport, where a 2000-bed rehabilitation hospital was hit and engulfed in flames, causing severe destruction. Afghanistan has condemned the strikes as “inhumane” and a “crime against humanity.” Government spokesperson Suhail Shaheen called the attack completely unprovoked, rejecting Pakistan’s claims that only militant targets were hit.
