Why did Twitter violate new IT norms of India? | ICH
There has been a dispute between Twitter and the central government for a long time. The government says that Twitter will have to follow the new rule. Under the new rules, large social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp will need to take additional measures. This includes appointment of Chief Compliance Officer, Nodal Officer and Grievance Officer in India etc.
