Times when Congress-Shiv Sena formed an alliance

This is not the first time when Congress and Shiv Sena are coming together. History is repeating itself this time as both these parties earlier have also joined hands. In 1975 Shiv Sena supported Congress at the time of Emergency. Then in 1977 Sena joined hands with Congress. In 1980 during Lok Sabha elections Shiv Sena supported Congress party. Again in 2012 Shiv Sena instead of supporting NDA's President candidate it supported President candidate from Congress.
