Supreme Court refuses to interfere in Anil Deshmukh case

Anil Deshmukh, who resigned from the post of Home Minister of Maharashtra following the Bombay High Court order on the allegations of recovery, has also received a setback from the Supreme Court. On Thursday, the Supreme Court refused to intervene on the petition of Anil Deshmukh, who pleaded against the order of the CBI investigation by the Bombay High Court. The primary investigation being conducted by the CBI will continue. The court said in its order- "This is a matter related to people sitting on 2 big posts".
