PM Modi explains changes made in CAA during Kolkata speech
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, interacted with youths in Belur Math of Howrah, and explained that the Citizenship Act or CAA is about giving rights and not about taking them away.
"There are a lot of questions among the youth about the new citizenship law, and some are being misled by rumours around it... it is our duty to clear their doubts," the PM said. He said that the government is following the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi and the new citizenship law is facilitating those migrants facing persecution.
