North East's 'Manipur Model' & Tokyo Olympics; know its connection

Mirabai Chanu created history by winning the silver medal in the Tokyo Olympics. Chanu has added several other records to her name in addition to winning the silver medal. She is the first female athlete in the country to win a silver medal in weightlifting. Mary Kom also won a bronze medal in the 2012 Olympics. Manipur has given many strong players to different sports, who are making the country proud.
