Mokama Gang War: Anant Singh and Sonu Monu’s Rivalry Erupts in Firing Incident | ABP NEWS

Anant Singh, a former MLA and powerful leader in Bihar, is back in the news because of a gang fight in Mokama. The fight is between his group and the gang of Sonu Monu, and it started over a property. Three FIRs have been filed—one against Anant Singh, one against Sonu Monu, and one by a man named Mukesh, who owns the property. There was gunfire during the fight, but it’s not clear who fired first. The dispute, which led to the violence, centers around a property, the ownership of which belongs to Mukesh, who has filed one of the FIRs. Additionally, Sonu Monu’s mother has filed another FIR in the matter, while the police themselves have registered their own FIR. The clash involved gunfire, but authorities have yet to confirm which side fired the first shot. Anant Singh defended his actions, saying that those responsible for the violence should not be spared. Sonu Monu’s family believes the conflict is linked to politics, as they had supported the BJP in past elections against  Anant Singh’s party. The police are still investigating the incident.
