MahaKumbh 2025: Post-Stampede, Record Crowds in Prayagraj, Safety Tightened | ABP NEWS

The 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj is witnessing a massive surge of devotees at the sacred Sangam. So far, around 30 crore devotees have bathed in the holy waters, and this number is growing daily. Today marks the 19th day of the Maha Kumbh, with 27 more days left. The total number of devotees is expected to reach 40 crore by the end of the event. People from across the country and abroad are flocking to Prayagraj in search of spiritual blessings. In light of previous incidents like stampedes, the administration has taken extensive measures to enhance safety and organization. Special guidelines have been issued, and security arrangements have been tightened to prevent any untoward incidents. The upcoming Amrit Snan on Basant Panchami is a major focus, with the administration on high alert to ensure smooth proceedings. Senior officials visited Prayagraj to review the arrangements and ensure no lapses in planning. The entire administrative machinery is working tirelessly to make sure this Maha Kumbh is conducted without any issue.
