Mahakumbh 2025: CM Yogi Visits Prayagraj for Third Time to Review Amavasya Bath Preparations
Today, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is visiting Prayagraj for the third time within a week to review preparations for the morning Amavasya (new moon) bath at the Mahakumbh. On February 5, Prime Minister Modi will also visit the city. With increasing crowds, the Prayagraj administration has decided that all schools, from classes 1 to 8, will continue their studies online until February to avoid further congestion. This time, the Mahakumbh will feature pavilions representing all states and union territories, including Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, and Lakshadweep. The VHP (Vishva Hindu Parishad) has called for an increase in the Hindu population and a move to free temples from government control.
