Amethi seat remains the most discussed topic during the Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh. BJP has made current MP and Union Minister Smriti Irani its candidate on this seat. But on the other hand, Congress has not yet announced the name of its candidate under the India Alliance. This seat has been the stronghold of Congress and the Gandhi family but Rahul Gandhi had lost in the last 2019 elections. Smriti Irani is going to file nomination in this election on Monday.
