Know about PFI's SIMI connection in UP Violence

The Lucknow police have arrested three members of the Popular Front of India (PFI) and claimed that the organisation was the mastermind behind Thursday's violence that erupted during the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protests in the state capital.

The group also had connections with Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI), a banned Islamist organisation that was formed in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
