JNU case: Mumbai protest shifted as commoners were suffering, says DCP

People protesting against the JNU attack were shifted to Azad Maidan from Gateway of India by Mumbai Police. The Mumbai police appealed the protesters by saying 'we are not against your peaceful protest', and asked them to move from the Gateway of India. Sangram Singh, DCP Mumbai police, while talking to media, said that no protest can be conducted in front of an iconic structure. The protesters were asked to relocate themselves as they were affecting the common man's life.
