'Won't Work For Muslims & Yadavs': JDU MP Devesh Chandra Thakur | ABP News

Devesh Chandra Thakur, MP from Sitamarhi, Bihar, has made a controversial statement about Muslims and Yadavs. He has said that he will no longer do any work for Yadavs and Muslims, providing a reason for this stance. On Monday (17th June), Congress and RJD leaders reacted to his statement.

In his statement, MP Devesh Chandra Thakur remarked that when Yadavs and Muslims see the face of PM Modi in the arrow mark while casting votes, why should he not see the face of Lalu and the Lantern while working for them? He added, "My Yadav and Muslim brothers, come, have tea, and go, but do not discuss work, because I will not do your work."

Devesh Chandra Thakur has reached Parliament for the first time, having defeated RJD's Arjun Rai by 51,356 votes. He received 515,719 votes.
