The micro-blogging platform recently said that it has appointed an interim Chief Compliance Officer, as per the new norms, and the details of which would be soon shared with the IT Ministry directly.

Amid the ongoing feud between the Central government and Twitter over the newly formed IT rules, Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Friday alleged that his account on the micro-blogging site was suspended for almost an hour. However, an hour later, the senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader's account was restored.
