Top 25: UP's Mau witness violence during CAA protest
An undeclared curfew has been imposed in Mau district after students, protesting against the new citizenship law, went on rampage, set vehicles on fire and threw stones at the police.
The cops also resorted to firing teargas shells and lathi-charged the protesters, reports said. Students are staging protests to express their solidarity with students of Jamia Milia and Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).
