West Bengal Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar tweeted, 'Concerned at unabated reports of unprecedented post poll retributive heart rendering violence inspite of flagging this Mamata Banerjee, West Bengal Police & Kolkata Police. Such senseless violence shames democracy. Such collapse of law and order will neither be overlooked nor countenanced.'
In a tweet, Dhankhar informed that the Prime Minister called him to take stock of alarmingly worrisome law and order situation in the state where reports of arson and violence came from parts of the state on Sunday evening even as trends and results of the Assembly election were pouring in.
