Students stage protest in Mukherjee Nagar over Old Rajinder Nagar incident; SDM arrives to meet them

New Delhi, July 30 (ANI): On July 30, students in Mukherjee Nagar, a major hub for coaching centers, staged a protest in response to a tragic incident that occurred on July 27. The incident involved the flooding of a coaching institute's basement in Old Rajinder Nagar due to heavy rain, which resulted in the deaths of three students. The students, deeply affected by the tragedy, demanded immediate action and better safety measures for coaching centers. Model Town SDM Rajiv Sinha arrived at the protest to address the students’ concerns and discuss steps to prevent such incidents in the future. The protest has underscored the urgent need for improved safety standards and emergency preparedness in educational facilities.
