Sri Lanka Visit: PM Modi flags off train in Anuradhapura with Prez Aruna; visits Mahabodhi

After flagging off the train, PM Modi is scheduled to visit the sacred Mahabodhi Temple for darshan and pooja. His visit follows high-level bilateral talks in Colombo. The warm welcome extended to PM Modi reflects the strong India-Sri Lanka relationship, especially since India was the first to offer significant assistance during Sri Lanka’s 2022 economic crisis.
