Shaheen Bagh: Section 144 imposed, police asks protesters to move

Delhi police has imposed Section 144 in the Shaheen Bagh area and has asked the protesters to vacate the road. The protesters have been staging a sit-in protest for almost two-and-a-half months now against the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act and the proposed NPR and NRC. Heavy police deployment is seen in the area after some fringe groups said that they will also protest in Shaheen Bagh.
