AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi accused the BJP and RSS of rekindling "the era of enmity as it was in the 1990s" in response to a court order in Varanasi to assess some sections of the Gyanvapi mosque. "If the BJP accepts the Places of Worship (Special Provisions) Act of 1991, they should say so. The BJP and the Sangh are focusing on this issue. They are attempting to resurrect the era of enmity that existed in the 1990s "ANI quoted AIMIM Chief on its official Twitter account.
