Rs 500 crore allocated for disrupted supply chains due to lockdown: FM | Full PC
An additional amount of Rs 500 crore has been allocated to facilitate disrupted supply chains of fruits and vegetables. The supply was affected due to lockdown amid Coronavirus Pandemic. 50 per cent subsidy will be given on transportation of all fruits and vegetables from surplus to deficit markets. On the other hand, the remaining 50 per cent will be used for storage.
