After an uproar on BJP convenor Jiten Gajaria's tweet, his lawyer and the Bhartiya Janata Party leader Vivekanand Gupta stated that his tweet was under the legal framework, there was nothing objectionable in it. On Thursday, a member of the Maharashtra unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was questioned for nearly eight hours by the Mumbai police's cybercrime cell in connection with his "objectionable" tweets.
