Rao IAS Basement Case: Police Escort Protesting Students to Meet MCD Commissioner
Old Rajendra Nagar Accident: The case of the death of three students in the basement of Rao IAS Coaching Center in Old Rajendra Nagar is escalating. Today, civil service aspirants protesting outside the coaching center went on an indefinite hunger strike, demanding action regarding the deaths of the three students on Tuesday.
One of the protesting students said that ten aspirants have started an indefinite hunger strike until their main demands, including compensation of five crore rupees to the families of the victims, are met. "We had a small hope that the administration would listen to us, that we would be heard by the UPSC coaching lobby and the officials, but after four days, we realized that this protest is going nowhere," he said.
