Rajnath Singh at SCO summit: India's Stern Warning Against Terror-Sponsoring Nations | ABP NEWS

At the SCO Defense Ministers’ meet, Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh delivered a direct and forceful message on cross-border terrorism, with an apparent rebuke to Pakistan. He emphasized India’s “zero tolerance” policy towards terrorism and its right to defend itself against such threats. Referring to the heinous terror attack in Pahalgam on April 27, where 26 civilians, including a Nepali national, were killed by The Resistance Front—a proxy of the UN-designated terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba—Singh highlighted that India had responded with Operation Sindoor on May 7, targeting terrorist infrastructure across the border. Singh called out countries that use terrorism as state policy and shelter terrorists, stating they must face consequences. He condemned the double standards in the global fight against terrorism and urged united, decisive global action. He also stressed the need to combat radicalization and misuse of technology, like drones, in terrorism and smuggling. India reaffirmed its commitment to stability in Afghanistan, disaster-resilient infrastructure, and multilateral cooperation under the vision of "One Earth, One Family, One Future." Singh concluded by expressing optimism about deeper defense cooperation among SCO nations to address evolving global threats.
