Poonch Encounter: Col Danvir Singh explains why the area is 'Ambush prone'
Following the intel, the Indian Army started to cordon off the villages close to Dara Ki Gali in the Surankote area of Poonch district. After which a search operation is being conducted as well. At least 5 terrorists open fire at the troops killing five Jawans including a JCO.
Col Danvir Singh told ABP News and explained why the area was ambush prone. Col Singh told that the area was very close to LoC and hence the supply of weapons to terrorists was easy.
