PM Modi Sends Chadar for Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti; Kiran Rijiju and Jamal Siddiqui to Visit Nizamuddin Dargah
On the occasion of the 813th Urs of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is sending a chadar to the Ajmer Dargah as a mark of respect and devotion. In connection with this, Union Minister Kiran Rijiju and BJP Minority Morcha National President Jamal Siddiqui are set to visit the Nizamuddin Auliya Dargah in Delhi today.The visit comes as a part of the broader celebrations and the show of solidarity with Sufi traditions across the country. The chairman of the Nizamuddin Dargah, Syed Afzar Ali Nizami, will be meeting the ministers to discuss this spiritual connection.The offering of the chadar is a symbol of faith and respect, commonly practiced during religious occasions. Both the chadar’s dispatch and the visit to Nizamuddin are seen as gestures to strengthen the bond between religious communities and promote peace, unity, and interfaith harmony.
