People throng vegetable markets at various places | ABP Special

Social distancing norms were flouted at vegetable and fruit markets at various places across India. Buyers thronged the markets in large numbers amid lockdown. People were also seen crowding at the gates while some individuals were not wearing masks despite that being made compulsory by the government. 

The entire nation is under lockdown till May 17 to combat the COVID-19.
