Pahalgam Attack fallout: Pakistan violates LoC ceasefire, India responds strongly

In the aftermath of the deadly Pahalgam terror attack, Pakistan has once again resorted to ceasefire violations along the Line of Control (LoC). According to the Indian Army’s official statement, several Pakistani posts opened fire late last night at multiple locations across the LoC. This marks yet another breach, with similar firing reported just a day earlier on Friday.India responded firmly, with retaliatory firing targeting Pakistani positions. The escalation is seen as a possible cover for infiltration attempts by terrorists, especially following intensified counterterror operations in Jammu & Kashmir. The Indian Army remains on high alert across forward posts and sensitive areas, ensuring that Pakistan’s provocations are met with immediate and appropriate action. The renewed LoC tension underscores rising border instability amid a broader crackdown on terror following the Pahalgam incident.
