Over 6 lakh test kits available in India: ICMR Head Scientist

Speaking to ABP News, Dr Raman Gangakhedkar, head scientist of ICMR said that the country has around 6 lakh testing kits available which is sufficient for the current stage of Coronavirus outbreak in India. He also stressed on the need to adopt social distancing for not just our health, but safety of our neighbours and family members.

When asked about US Presidnet Donald Trump's claim that malaria drug can cure Coronavirus, Dr Khedkar said that doctors couldn't come to a conclusion based on results of 30 samples and need more data.
