'No Shiv Sena MLA Will Take Deputy CM Oath If Eknath Shinde Does Not,' Says Uday Samant

Shiv Sena leader Deepak Kesarkar, before the oath ceremony, stated that all Shiv Sena MLAs had met Eknath Shinde the previous evening and requested him to accept a position in the Maharashtra Cabinet and the Deputy Chief Minister's role. He mentioned that Shinde would consider this request positively and that he always listens to Prime Minister Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Kesarkar added that if any message comes from them, it would be a good sign, and Shinde would always consider their decisions. Shiv Sena MLA Uday Samant also stated that if Eknath Shinde does not take the oath as Deputy Chief Minister today, then no Shiv Sena member will take the oath as Deputy CM.
