Nitish Kumar may take the oath as the Chief Minister of Bihar on Bhai Dooj which falls on 16 November. No decision has been taken on the cabinet yet. The NDA won a majority in Bihar elections by winning 125 seats, but Nitish's party Janata Dal-United (JDU) was able to win only 43 seats.
There were speculations about Nitish Kumar not becoming the CM again in Bihar. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dismissed it.
