NEET Paper Leak Case: CBI Takes Over 5 Cases From Multiple States | ABP News
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken over the investigation of five additional cases related to alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG medical entrance exam, previously handled by police in Bihar, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, as reported by news agency PTI on Monday.
The CBI is also expected to assume responsibility for another case from Latur, Maharashtra.
According to officials, the central agency has re-registered one case each from Bihar and Gujarat, and three cases from Rajasthan as its own FIRs.
"Barring the case from Bihar, the other four appear to be isolated incidents of impersonation and cheating involving local officials, invigilators, and candidates," the officials said.
