Mumbai comes to a standstill due to downpour, heavy water-logging
Amid heavy rains, Mumbai city is experiencing waterlogging, disruption in local train services, and heavy traffic on roads. The weather department had also warned of heavy rains in Mumbai, Thane, Raigad, and Konkan areas from June 9 to June 12. Meanwhile, the Maharashtra police appealed to Mumbaikars not to step out of their homes unnecessarily and cautioned them against traveling to some of the inundated areas.
