MP News: 6-year-old boy falls into an open borewell in Rewa, rescue ops underway | ABP News
A six-year-old boy fell into a borewell in MP’s Rewa on April 12 afternoon at an agricultural field at Manika village. As per officials, a rescue operation is underway and a team of NDRF and SDRF are in service to save the boy. The incident took place around 3 pm at Manika village near the UP border when he was playing near the open borewell. According to ASP Anil Sonkar, the borewell is about 70 feet deep, while the boy is stuck at a depth of around 40 feet. He further informed that a parallel pit was being dug so that the trapped kid could be brought out safely. Further details are still awaited
