Monsoon In India: Temple Submerge In Ujjain As Shipra River Overflows | ABP News
Heavy rains in Indore, Dewas, and Ujjain have caused the Shipra river to swell, prompting the district administration to ban worship at the ghats. The water level is expected to rise further, and the administration is on high alert for potential floods. Security personnel have been deployed at the ghats, and announcements are being made to alert nearby residents. Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh reported that religious activities have been disrupted, and the administration is closely monitoring the situation. Superintendent of Police Pradeep Sharma ensured that security personnel were in place to safeguard devotees. The fluctuating water level has also caused waterlogging in nearby temples.
