Masks not required for kids below 5 yrs as Centre issues new guidelines
In response to concerns about children's vulnerability during the third COVID wave, the government has stated that children aged five and under are not needed to wear a mask, but those aged six to eleven should do so under the supervision of their parents. This decision is based on the child's safety and overall interest, as well as his or her ability to correctly use a mask with minimum assistance.
