Major Train Collision in Tamil Nadu, Mysore-Darbhanga Express Crashes into Freight Train!

On Friday, October 11, a major train accident occurred in Tamil Nadu involving the Mysore-Darbhanga Express. The train collided with a freight train in Tiruvallur, resulting in at least 20 people injured. The injured passengers were promptly admitted to nearby hospitals for treatment. In the aftermath of the collision, two compartments of the express train caught fire, and approximately 12 to 13 coaches derailed, causing significant chaos and concern among the passengers. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw is closely monitoring the situation from the Railway War Room in Delhi. He has communicated with railway officials, urging them to prioritize the safety and well-being of all passengers. The Minister emphasized the importance of ensuring that everyone is safely transported to their intended destinations. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident to determine the cause and prevent future occurrences. Efforts are underway to restore normalcy and provide support to those affected by this unfortunate event.
