Mahadangal: Chirag Paswan or Nitish Kumar? NDA's CM Face Sparks Fresh Turmoil | ABP NEWS
As Bihar gears up for elections, the fight for the Chief Minister’s chair is becoming increasingly chaotic within both major alliances — NDA and INDIA. Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) has reignited the debate by projecting Chirag as the CM face. His brother-in-law and MP Arun Bharti declared that "people have already accepted Chirag as the next CM."This comes in contrast to Chirag’s earlier endorsement of Nitish Kumar as NDA’s chief ministerial candidate. JD(U) responded by saying that every party wants its top leader to be CM, but the alliance stands behind Nitish. Meanwhile, in the INDIA bloc, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav is openly staking his claim. In the presence of Rahul Gandhi, Tejashwi asked the public whether they wanted an "original CM or a duplicate one." Despite Tejashwi’s open pitch, Rahul Gandhi has remained vague on officially naming him as the CM candidate, raising questions about Congress’s strategy. With both alliances struggling to project a united front, the battle for Bihar’s top post is clearly far from settled. Expect more political fireworks as election day approaches.
