Lucknow faces the attack of locust horde

After creating panic among the farmers in rural part of Uttar Pradesh, a horde of locusts for the first time, wreaked havoc in state capital Lucknow. As soon as the locust horde arrived, the Uttar Pradesh police personnel went out on their motorcycles blaring sirens to chase away the locusts. A similar approach was adopted by the fire tenders in the city who also rang up their sirens. This went on for a duration of 30 mins.
