KP Sharma Oli Becomes PM Of Nepal Again, See How India Would Be Affected | ABP News
President Ramchandra Paudel has appointed 72-year-old CPN-UML President KP Sharma Oli as the new Prime Minister of Nepal. On Monday he also took oath as Prime Minister. Prime Minister Modi has congratulated him on social media. Congratulating Nepal's new Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, PM Modi wrote on social media, 'Congratulations on your appointment as Prime Minister of Nepal. We look forward to working together to further strengthen the deep ties of friendship between our two countries and further expand mutually beneficial cooperation for the progress and prosperity of our peoples.' In his first term, KP Sharma Oli had accused India of interfering in Nepal's internal affairs and toppling his government. Nepal had also adopted a tough stance regarding the border area. At the behest of China, his government showed some areas of India in its map, which was rejected by the Indian government. In the map, Lipulekh, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura in Uttarakhand were claimed to belong to Nepal. Just last month also there was news that on the new currency, Nepal has declared some areas of India as its own. After this, India again expressed strong objection.
