Karnataka govt issues strict guidelines over the use of Loudspeaker | ABP News
The State Government has instructed all those intending to use loudspeakers for calling Azaan in mosques to obtain authorization within 15 days of the ongoing debate. Loudspeakers would be removed without permission from authorized authorities. The Noise Pollution (Regulation and Control) Rules, 2000, notified under the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, also listed decibel values for residential, commercial, and industrial zones in a circular issued on Tuesday.
