Jammu Kashmir: Five Soldiers Martyred In Encounter With Terrorists In Doda | ABP News
Five security personnel, including an army officer, succumbed to their injuries after a gunfight with terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda district on Monday night. The encounter began when troops launched a joint cordon and search operation in the Desa forest area at 7:45 pm. Four army personnel, including an officer, and a police personnel were critically injured in the exchange of fire. They were evacuated to a hospital, but unfortunately, they did not survive. The operation was carried out by the Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police. Based on input about the presence of terrorists, the operation was launched by the armed forces, said the officials.
