Six security personnel have been injured in an encounter with terrorists at Chhatrakala, Doda, Jammu. On Tuesday, June 11, the terrorists ambushed the Army's temporary operating base (TOB) in the Doda district and opened fire. In the ensuing shootout, one terrorist was killed and a civilian was injured. Six jawans were reportedly injured in the shootout. Jammu ADGP Anand Jain said, "One terrorist was killed in the firing and one civilian was injured, but now the area is out of danger. The operation is still going on and senior officers are on the spot." This is the 3rd terrorist attack in the Jammu region in three days. The first one was the Reasi attack on pilgrims and the second was in Kathua on Tuesday. The Resistance Front (TRF), a part of the Pakistani terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, claimed responsibility for the Reasi bus attack on Sunday. The attack left 10 dead and 33 injured. Tuesday's terror attack in the Doda district came hours after a terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu & Kashmir's Kathua district. The jawans injured in the Doda encounter were taken to the sub-district hospital in Bhaderwah.
