Is Liquor ban not working in Bihar? Ground Report | Ghanti Bajao

The Bihar government will implement modifications to the state's prohibition statute that will take effect in 2015. The draught Prohibition and Excise (Amendment) Act-2022 was adopted by the cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday to amend the prohibition law. During the budget session, the updated law draught will be offered for approval by both houses of the legislature. In addition, after wheat and paddy, the cabinet has authorised a proposal to purchase gramme and lentils from state farmers.
